passando per Brother to Brother ,Wheels of Life e Stay With Me ), e resi ancora più preziosi

by Antonella Mucciaccio

Gifted with a great voice and an extraordinary stage presence, the Italian-Canadian musician

for over twenty-five years he has been combining intelligence, spectacularity and a refined creative flair

jazz solutions and patterns with intriguing, complex yet singable pop melodies.

In his concerts everything is designed to enchant the audience, starting with his own.

image of sensuality, in line with the most classic rules of stardom. The same could

to speak of his irresistible “bel canto”, enriched by nuances and virtuosity worthy of a modern

Frank Sinatra. This concert, conceived in the wake of the new album Slow Love, offered a

a rich but compact repertoire, songs from an entire career (from Crazy Life to King for a day

through Brother to Brother, Wheels of Life and Stay With Me ), and made even more precious

in the new arrangements with a jazzy edge. Electric piano and keyboards, percussion by Luc Boivin

the bass and drums of the duo Alain Caron and Paul Brochu of Uzeb, have managed to create a

energetic and sophisticated sound, ideal for the songs of this mature and inspired Vannelli.
